The Hundred-Year War between Midland and Tudor has finally come to an end thanks to the Band of the Hawk. We resume Berserk (1997) as Griffith and his allies are welcomed back to the city of Wyndham as heroes. In the shadows, the Queen and her nobles conspire to bring Griffith down before he can ascend further. After dealing with this murderous plot, Guts decides to leave the Band of the Hawk to find his own dream. But how will the usually-unflappable Griffith handle Guts' departure? If the prophecy of the Crimson Berehit remains true, then Griffith's fall will spell the doom of everything Guts holds dear. Remember to check your wine for poison before you enjoy today's intrigue-filled installment of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!

Good Movie Podcast? reconvenes to the realms of archelogy and adventure with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). Dr. Indiana Jones returns with some new friends, the spunky kid Short Round and the anything but outdoorsy, lounge singer "Willie" Scott. This unlikely trio is thrown from Shanghai to India on a mystical voyage to bring prosperity back to the downtrodden, recover some sacred stones, and take down a once-thought extant blood-thirsty cult. This Spielberg summer block buster sequel is quite important to both Dan and Jonathan but will it feel more like a wildly fun minecart ride or just some "snake surprise." It might be for fortune and glory, but maybe, just maybe we will discover something much deeper in this booby trapped labyrinth. We keep telling you that if you listen to this podcast you will live longer.

Bonds are tested and blades are broken as the Golden Age arc continues in Berserk (1997). An assassination attempt gives Griffith his first taste of courtly intrigue, and he responds to his would-be killers in-kind. Then, Guts and Casca are separated from the rest of the Band of the Hawk during a battle. While recovering, Casca explains her past to Guts and reveals the source of her anger against him. Finally, Griffith volunteers the Band of the Hawk to take the impenetrable Castle Doldrey from General Boscogn and his Purple Rhino Knights. Lord Gennon, the supreme commander of Tudor's northern battle forces, currently governs Doldrey and is obsessed with capturing Griffith alive. Guts intends to give this battle his all in order to walk away from Griffith without leaving any loose ends. But should the events at Castle Doldrey propel the White Hawk further into fame and fortune, will Guts even get to decide his own destiny?
