With Kill Bill: Volume 1 we seek out red-tinted vengeance against The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad and trek the globe, from California to Okinawa, one way. If anime was given a genuine live-action treatment then this movie really makes us want to wiggle our big toes. If you have anything else to say now if the f&*kin time! The characters that we have come to love and understand seem very different. Utena's memory is hazy, Anthy has a new look, and I won't even touch on the repressed memories bubbling to the surface.
