Make sure to conceal your mana as Frieren fights with Aura the Guillotine. Do Demons truly feel or is it all a facade of their race. Anime Was (Not) A Mistake anticipates the splendor and the magic of the fast-approaching Millenium Comet. That's right, its time to make a wish as we watch Pokémon: Jirachi, Wish Maker while continuing our Pokémon movie rewatch journey. When the mysterious Jiriachi awakens from a 1,000 year slumber it is up to Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, and Max to prove that their friendship can stand the test of time. And what of the dazzling stage magic, provided by the mysterious Butler and the lovely Diane? I sure hope there isn't some kind of eldritch Team Magma tie in to awaken a Groudon effigy? Anyway, while Jonathan is making a wish every night of the week, Dan is more concerned with the Pokémon themed carnival rides...

Another helping of high fantasy is heading your way with both Delicious in Dungeon and Record of Lodoss War. As Laios and his friends venture deeper into the dungeon, good nutrition will be harder to come by. Luckily, Senshi knows a few golems who are good for growing fresh veggies. Another party led by Kabru gets the spotlight for a moment, but they soon fall victim to some bite-sized treasure insects. Laios ventures into some Living Paintings to see if he can grab some takeout, but a mysterious figure grabs him instead. Back in Lodoss, the party finally meets the elf Deedlit. They are soon captured by the soldiers from Alania, who are quickly defeated in-turn by Marmo invaders. The Kingdom of Valis now remains as the last bulwark against Emperor Beld and his forces. A Black Knight arrives, a Princess is captured, and an immense dragon stirs as Parn and his friends fight for answers. Remember to pack some sanctified sorbet and be mindful of mimics for today's freshly baked episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!

Beware Anime Was (Not) A Mistake fans, a fully evolved Neopets dragon lurks within this episode. As we continue our long-lived trek with Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, we can learn what happens when a singular Dan Ryan is exposed to a party of Jonathans. With a whole past behind her Frieren is beginning to learn, experience, and recall how her past party might influence her experience lugging a couple of teens around the world. Angst isnt all its cracked up to be and when some demons are thrown into the mix, magic might be the only way to solve some sort of problems. Also, its someone's birthday and what better way to celebrate than with a Jumbo Berry Surprise? Weebs and Wyrms? Eventually I will get it, I swear...

A Duplicitous Dungeons & Dragons Double Dip awaits you on today's episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake! The first item on the menu is the recent smash-hit Delicious in Dungeon. After being defeated by a Red Dragon, Laios Touden and his party must quickly reenter the dungeon in order to save his sister from being digested. With no funds to purchase supplies, Laios decides to take advantage of the dungeon's ecosystem and eat monsters as they travel deeper. Laios, Marcille, Chillchuck, and new member Senshi are in for a full-course adventure in an ever-changing dungeon. For dessert, we have the 1990 OVA series Record of Lodoss War. On the island of Lodoss, Parn and his party are on a quest to meet with the great sage Wort. At every turn, they must face the dark forces of Karla the Grey Witch. Remember to pack a nutritious meal and practice your healing spells for this double-stuffed installment of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!

A roll of the (oversized) dice ends the most recent Sinister Six event, as well as an entire podcasting season. Before our next saga can begin, fate decrees that we watch the 1987 cult classic Don't Panic. On his seventeenth birthday, Michael is surprised when his friends break out a Ouija board. Tony, Michael's best friend, ends up being possessed by a demonic entity known as Virgil. Using his new body, Virgil goes on a killing spree that only Michael has the power to stop. What follows is an extremely 80's adventure through Mexico City, complete with electrifying theme music and lots and lots of product placement. The Great Eclipse begins as our coverage of Berserk (1997) comes to a close. A year has passed since Guts left the Band of the Hawk, who are now outlaws wanted for treason. Griffith, overcome with despair, remains imprisoned in the depths of the Tower of Rebirth. Though Guts and his allies manage to rescue Griffith, the fallen hero is unable to come to terms with his shattered dream. Giving his flesh and blood to the Crimson Beherit, Griffith brings his comrades into the nightmarish Astral Realm. There, the four demonic sovereigns of the God Hand appear and offer Griffith a place at their side. Guts, Casca, and the rest of the Band of the Hawk fight until the bitter end as the God Hand claims them as sacrifices. As Griffith is reborn, Guts stands to lose everything he holds dear.
