And this one is only loosely related to Christmas and more WILD than ever! First off, we take a treacherous trek to Monster Isle for a Mad Monster Party? This Halloween special will have you laughing, crying, and frothing from the mouth due to sheer insanity. (Insert Phyllis Diller laugh here) Next, there's nothing more magical than Christmas in Ireland. In The Leprechauns' Christmas Gold join Dan, Gabe, Grant, and Jonathan as they learn of the little folk and avoid a wailing banshee. Dinty Doyle don't know what is coming. Lastly, its an multi holiday Easter Spectacular with Here Comes Peter Cottontail! You'll be craving three month old green eggs before the episode is over. The fight for mankind's survival reaches its (snowy) peak as our coverage of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency continues. Before making his final stand, Esidisi steals the Red Stone of Aja and attempts to send it to his fellow Pillar Men. JoJo and his friends race to Switzerland to secure the relic before Kars and Wammu can enact their plan. Instead, the stone falls into the hands of a familiar cyborg. As the battle at St. Moritz escalates, our heroes learn surprising truths and suffer tragic losses. The story of the Pillar Men is nearing its conclusion, but dawn hasn't broken just yet. It is time once more, to channel your Hamon into your inner being and ascend an oil strewn tower with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency. On Anime Was (Not) A Mistake this week Dana and Jonathan get into a brawl over squid ink pasta and regrettably have to train together under Lisa, Lisa, in the hopes of showing three ancient pillar men what for. Of course, with it being a very bizarre adventure, expect the unexpected. One second we could be dislocating our own spines to dodge fatal blows, and the next could have us dipping out of the way of boiling blood, leaking from someone's fingertips. Also is there something on my back....I really hope that it's not an entire brain latched onto me? Why aren't you answering? Do you have a pigeon in your throat or are you just happy to hear from us? Our podcast jumps back into the Joestar mythos with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency. Joseph, the short-tempered grandson of Jonathan Joestar, arrives in New York City with his grandmother Erina. Joseph is attacked by the fallen Hamon master Straizo, now an immortal vampire, and becomes aware of a looming threat. An elderly Robert E.O. Speedwagon is being held captive by Nazis, who are experimenting on a mysterious Stone Pillar. JoJo travels to Mexico to rescue his old family friend, but he may be too late to stop the dangerous lifeform sleeping within that stone. We invite our listeners to crack open a cold Coco Cola and don a 100% beetle scarf for today's Hamon-infused episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!

Just in time for Halloween, our Sinister Six event rears its ugly head with 2017's The Bye Bye Man. After discovering a strange nightstand (yes, you're reading that correctly), a trio of college students are haunted by a ghoulish entity known as the Bye Bye Man. He's got coins, a dog, a coat, and an unexplained loved of trains. Elliot, who is sadly our main character, searches for answers in order stop this deadly curse. His quest leads him to the local library and nowhere else, really. All the while, Elliot and his friends descend into madness as the Bye Bye Man grows closer. Probably. The Bye Bye Man is pretty hands-off, all things considered. We invite you to light up a burrito and grab a slice of sad pizza for today's mayonnaise-filled episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!
