Anime Was (Not) a Mistake is back for Season 2! Release the Raccoon! Following the typical anime structure, you know what that means? It’s time for a fighting tournament! Your hosts, Dan and Jonathan, have each chosen a champion to represent them in the hopes of claiming glory, fame, and primo animation. Make no mistake, we will be at each other’s throat but, if we happen to learn a thing or two along the way...what a concept. It’s Satoshi Kon vs. Mamoru Hosada. First, in the bracket is Kon’s pervasive, and dream-like look into pop idol fame, 1997’s Perfect Blue. Mima may be trying to break into acting, but she must be careful, there’s a stalker after her and she’s not sure if she’s going insane.
