That chill in the New Jersey air can only mean that Halloween is upon us again. This year's spooky special begins with Peter Jackson's cult classic comedy-horror film The Frighteners. Frank Bannister claims to be a "freelance exorcist" capable of capturing the ghosts that plague Fairview, California. In reality, a traumatic event gave Frank the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. Frank has his ghostly friends haunt his customers until they give him a call. One day, Frank discovers that a series of local murders have a gruesome connection to his past. Even stranger, the perpetrator of these crimes appears to be the Grim Reaper itself! With the town turning against him and the FBI ready to pounce, Frank must finally put his otherworldly abilities to good use. Hold onto your jawbones and clear the skeletons from your closet for today's spooktacular episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!
