On today's episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake, we're hedging our bets and joining the Straw Hat Pirates for another cinematic adventure. In One Piece Film: Gold, Luffy and his friends travel to a massive casino ship known as the Gran Tesoro. After losing a deadly wager with Gild Tesoro, the owner of the ship and wielder of the Gold-Gold Fruit, the Straw Hats plan an elaborate heist in order to save Zoro and beat the house. Of course, things don't go exactly as planned. Instead, they might need a little extra luck in order to take down Tesoro and free his many captives. All that glitters may not be gold, but anime was (probably) not a mistake.
